I offer face to face counselling and supervision from my room in Hare Hill House in Littleborough which is situated in, and overlooks the peaceful park there. My aim is to provide a space where you feel safe enough to talk about whatever it is that you want to explore. I want to listen attentively and to make sure that I’m understanding and getting a good sense of how it feels for you. I want to be real, down to earth and transparent and to offer a space which is free from judgement or external evaluation. I try to offer sensitive and thoughtful responses to help you get in touch with your deeper feelings and your inner wisdom so that you may start to make more sense of things, and get you to where you want to be.
I am trained in the use of creative methods that can be helpful with the therapeutic process, but there is no obligation to work in this way. My philosophy is to be led by what is best for you, and to follow your lead, working from your frame of reference and at your pace.
