Welcome, I'm Helen, most people call me Hallie. I aim to create a space together where you feel valued, trusted and safe. I appreciate this can mean something different to all of us, and aim to work together to explore what you are looking for from sessions at your own pace. I won't dismantle any walls; you, your experiences and ways of coping make sense and are valid. I aim to create a space where you feel welcome just as you are to explore any thoughts, feelings and experiences, and to discover what's right for you, based on your experience of what it's like to be you.

I appreciate your experience as an individual, as well as the role that society can have.I am a warm, inclusive, compassionate person and trainee psychotherapist in the final stage of my MSc in Person-centred and Experiential Psychotherapy at The Sherwood Psychotherapy Training Institute. I am a trainee member of UKCP with over 300 hours and 3 years' experience working with adults aged 18+.

I offer weekly one-to-one sessions via Zoom on Mondays 11.30am-7pm, Thursdays 11.30am-7.30pm and Fridays 10am-4.15pm (session end time). To enquire, please leave a message with your contact details.     I have almost 3 years’ experience offering  face to face and remote sessions within generic counselling services for adults aged 18+.

    As well as my experience in therapy practice,  I am currently Training Admin for an organisation that offers neurodiversity training for professionals. I also have volunteering, and work experience in the dance sector, within policy and research work, in classrooms and libraries, within campaigns and welfare and access roles, in hospices, shelters for people experiencing homelessness, working with disabled people, neurodivergent people, carers and people who have experienced bereavement.

    I am committed to my own ongoing personal and professional development and attend regular CPD.

    I have experience working with people from a wide range of backgrounds and life experiences. In addition, I have special interest in experiences of neurodivergence and neurodiversity, identity, highly sensitive people, disabilities and chronic health conditions and perfectionist tendencies.

    I offer all sessions via Zoom. I offer an optional free 15 minute introduction Zoom call, and a 60 minute initial session at £20. Then, weekly 30 minute sessions at £20, 60 minute sessions at £40 and 75 minute sessions at £50. At least 24 hours' notice is needed for cancellations.
