Sometimes we find ourselves stuck between where we are and where we want to be. I offer a safe, compassionate space to work through the difficulty and help you get there. With the right support, we can all move through difficulty and transition towards a better version of ourselves. This inspired the name of my practice, Yambuko – a Shona word meaning ‘vessel used to cross over’.

Life can be hard-hitting, and there are times when we all need a safe space to make sense of what we’re carrying. Whether you are navigating anxiety, grief, trauma, relationship difficulties, low self-worth or significant life changes, I can offer a warm, empathic and non-judgemental space where you can explore what’s happening in your world, at your own pace.

I have a particular interest in how cultural diversity shapes our inner lives and comes into our relationships. I welcome people from all backgrounds and walks of life.

My counselling experience spans bereavement care, sexual abuse recovery and community mental health settings.

I bring insight, grounding and the warmth of the African sun to my sessions.

  • Accessibility Comments

I provide a confidential space for individuals to work through periods of difficulty, rebuild confidence and move forward with direction and stability. I see clients face-to-face at rooms in Leamington Spa, and online via Google Meet.

When you get in touch, we'll start with a short consultation via video call before the full session. I’ll invite you to share more about what brings you to counselling, what you are hoping to get from our work. I'll briefly explain how I work and we can see if we are a good fit. There is no pressure. It is simply a chance to begin.

Should we decide to work together, we will schedule our first session and go through some of the initial paperwork.
