I describe myself as a classical person-centred counsellor, committed to the principle that we all have deep within us a tendency that can help us to find healing and growth in our lives, be better able to deal with the challenges and issues that we face in life and be the person we sense we really are. I regard my role as counsellor to support you in gaining access to this tendency. When we are able to do this, we are all better able to resolve issues in our own way, adapt to changing circumstances and situations while becoming more trusting, and accepting of ourselves. To achieve this I seek to create an environment where you feel unconditionally accepted, listened to and with someone who is transparent and comfortable with being himself.
Should you feel that the approach I adopt to counselling means I might be able support you, or someone you care for, please make contact and I will arrange an initial introductory meeting with you.
