Person Centred counsellor in Maidenhead
I am a person-centred counsellor offering a calm, thoughtful space where you can speak freely and be met without judgement. I believe that when we are truly heard and accepted, change becomes possible in a way that feels steady and authentic rather than forced.
People often come to me feeling unsure of who they are, questioning their purpose, or navigating a life change that has unsettled them. You might be experiencing anxiety or low mood, struggling with self-esteem, or finding that old experiences are resurfacing during a transition such as bereavement, separation, children leaving home, or becoming a parent. Sometimes childhood experiences — like parental divorce or growing up around alcohol misuse — can quietly shape how we relate to ourselves and others in adulthood.
In our work together, I won’t tell you what to do or push you in a particular direction. Instead, I will walk alongside you as you untangle what feels confusing or heavy. Sessions move at your pace. My role is to offer warmth, honesty and careful listening, helping you make sense of your experiences and reconnect with a clearer sense of who you are.
I offer counselling to adults and young people, in person in Maidenhead and online.

Special areas
Although I don’t work within a specific niche, much of my practice is with adults who feel unsure of who they are, are questioning their sense of purpose, or are navigating significant life transitions. I often support people facing changes such as children leaving home, bereavement, separation or becoming a parent. Often earlier experiences — such as parental divorce or growing up with an alcoholic parent — can resurface in adulthood, particularly during times of change. Together, we can gently explore how past experiences may be shaping the present, creating space for greater clarity, self-understanding and direction.
