I believe that feeling truly heard and seen can be a powerful experience, and that counselling offers a type of space and way of relating with another person that we rarely get to experience in life. In this space your own inner voice and self-compassion can grow.
I offer a gentle ‘being with’ and acceptance – I won’t tell you how you feel, or what you should do. Instead I will support you to tune into yourself and find your own answers.
I am based in West Hampstead, North West London, and work with adults. I am a neurodivergent-affiriming counsellor, and can work with a range of neurodiversity including Autism, ADHD/VAST (Variable Attention Stimulus Trait), and AuDHD.

Areas of practice
I work with adults, in person and online.
I have experience of working with bereavement and loss, and with abuse in trauma in different organisations over the past 10 years.
I work with those facing life transitions, a sense of being lost in the world, or searching to find themselves again. I have time and space for those who have felt misunderstood, alone, and different to others.
I also enjoy working with those who are full of knowledge about the world, or interests they can get lost in, or who are creative, or who love nature. Everyone is welcome.
Diversity
I have experience working with a range of diversity - of background, sexuality, gender, ways of thinking, being, and living. I am from a diverse (mixed) background and have some understanding of South East Asian culture. I welcome all ethnic and religious groups, neurodivergent clients, and LGBQT+ clients. I acknowledge my differences to and with my clients, and constantly strive to learn and understand.
I specialise in neurodivergence - to support understanding what it means for you as an individual, with compassion and understanding. I have many traits myself and aim to bring a humble openess to who are you, without judgement or assumption.
Focusing
I have additional training in Focusng and Focusing-oriented therapy, an approach based on our moment-to-moment experiencing and the felt sense of what is not-yet-in-words. I see this felt sensing as a direct way to connect to our inner truths, step away from the 'shoulds' of life, and bring our whole bodies rather than just our thoughts into the room. My approach with this is gentle - an empathic listening to the whole sense of what you bring, and space to acknowledge what comes up, even if it can't be explained in words.

Special areas
Neurodivergence
I specialise in working with neurodivergence, bringing a person-centred lens of acceptance and non-judgment along with a solid understanding of neuroaffirming concepts. I aim to be compassionate, non-shaming, and offer a space to welcome you and who you are with acceptance.
I can work with those who are wondering if they might be autistic, ADHD or AuDHD, or who are newly diagnosed and need space to understand themselves anew. It might be that you have known for years (officially or not), and are looking for someone you don't need to explain it all to again, but who will be ready to start with you from a place of understanding.
Eye contact is not expected, nor are there any expectations around being a ‘good’ client (e.g. crying). I am simply happy to sit with you, as you are.

Accessibility Comments
Physical access: The therapy rooms are on the ground floor, however there is a step up into the building. Online counselling also available.
As a neurodivergent-affirming counsellor I consider how to address different needs - sensory, processing, emotional, related to executive functioning - specific to neurodivergent clients. I am considerate of having gentle lighting, sensory fidgets available, visual timers, and use clear language. Most importantly I consider and respect each client as their own expert.
