Ryan Tebbit: An Autistic Therapist

My name is Ryan and I am an experienced Person-Centred Therapist, a supervisor, group facilitator and educator, who specialises in helping and working with adults who identify as autistic, neurodivergent and other related conditions including ADHD. I have a diagnosis of Asperger's Syndrome myself which means that I work with an insider’s perspective of Autism. I have a deep, experiential understanding of the challenges facing people with Autism and the non acceptance of living in a neurotypical world. I also specialise in working with LGBTQ+ and gender non conforming/non binary clients.

I provide online counselling as well as face to face sessions.

I qualified in 2013 and successfully completed my Master's degree in counselling in 2016. I have 14 years of practice experience and I am dedicated to my own self development. I receive regular supervision and attend continuing training and professional development. In addition, I have 10 years experience as a sexual abuse and trauma counsellor.

I offer a safe, non-judgemental space for my clients to explore their inner world and childhood experiences.

I will listen attentively and help you get a better understanding of your Autism and who you are as a person.

The initial session costs £30 and is a chance for you to talk about things and to ask any questions you may have about the way I work.
