I adore the person-centred approach! My love was ignited when I read ‘On Becoming a Person’ just before I started my training in earnest. I feel lucky to have found this approach, to have received it, to be practising it, to be teaching it and to be part of an organisation who champion it.
I believe PCA to be a radical and transformational modality and way of life. Something profound happens when someone feels accepted for exactly who they are. Seeing clients become more congruent within themselves and take back agency in their own lives is awe-inspiring. I want to do what I can to bring PCA in various forms to more people.
Based in Cardiff, I work in private practice, shameless plug: authentic-self.uk! I also teach PCA therapy at a couple of different colleges, doing my best to share my enthusiasm with students.
I love being in nature, whether hiking, cycling, running or camping in my beloved van. I am big into music, like to dance, and I play guitar… badly!
