Mothers for Mothers is a specialist perinatal mental health charity supporting women, birthing people, and families across Bristol, North Somerset, and South Gloucestershire. Since 1981, we’ve provided maternal mental health support, including person-centred counselling for postnatal depression, prenatal anxiety, and parental isolation.

Since then, the service has continued to grow to meet the needs of its clients and today, we offer a range of support to women during pregnancy and until their youngest child attends school, from illness to wellness. The four arms of our support services: Helpline/Support Calls, Home Visiting, Art Therapy and Counselling Service, and Peer Support Groups.
