Supporting Clients who have Anxiety & Panic Attacks
£70 trainee rate of £30 or financial constraints free (assuming there is already a viable group).
Many people present for counselling/therapy with anxiety and/or panic attacks, or during the course of therapy, suddenly find themselves beset with the effects of anxiety and panic. This day will focus on the underlying causes of both anxiety and panic, as well as focusing on simple methods for supporting clients to manage these frightening states of being. We will also explore those times when our work can give rise to anxiety in ourselves, how we manage this requires full awareness within at the same time as fully attending to the client: not an easy task. Together we will explore those experiences and share the balance of authenticity, care for the client and self-care.
