Certificate in Therapeutic use of Person Centred Creative Arts - October 2026
An intensive experiential online course to develop skills you can use professionally with clients in a variety of roles and settings, such as counselling, psychotherapy, coaching, youth work and other similar roles.
This is an amazing course which develops understanding and skills to work therapeutically with art. The course is open to anyone who works in an appropriate work setting, such as counselling, psychotherapy, psychology, coaching, education, healthcare, support work, youth work or other similar roles. Students must be able to practice outside of the course and will need to organise appropriate supervision.

The course consists of 84 taught hours, alongside home study plus peer group practice. The course covers

The course is delivered currently online. Art training is not a requirement.
Course assessment is via portfolio using a peer assessment process.
On successful completion of the course students will be eligible for APCCA Practitioner status.
