Freedom to Exist in a Difficult World - Online Conference
We’re excited to share that the Person-Centred Association (tPCA) is partnering with Onlinevents to bring our upcoming conference online, making it more accessible to therapists across the UK and beyond.
This year’s theme:
“Freedom to Exist in a Difficult World.”
The conference invites counsellors and psychotherapists, both qualified and in training, to explore what it means to practise person-centred therapy in complex times. Through engaging talks and conversations, we will reflect on autonomy, relational depth, and how the person-centred approach supports both practitioners and clients navigating a challenging world.
'Freedom to exist in a difficult world' is a tPCA conference aimed at any therapists (both qualified and in training) who have considered (or who have had clients considering) this topic. In a world that increasingly seeks to place people at binary poles, we miss the nuance and intricacy that impacts so many of us. As person-centred counsellors (and more broadly, counsellors in general) we try to meet our clients with empathic understanding. We cannot meet clients where they are if we do not understand them - we can only meet them where we are.
This conference day is a day of exploration, of gentle challenge, of curiosity and compassion, and we would welcome anyone who would like to explore these ideas, concepts and experiences further.
