How I Work (Therapist)

I am a Person-Centred therapist dedicated to providing a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore anything about yourself at your own pace. My approach is rooted in empathy, genuineness, and respect, prioritising your autonomy and individual experience.

In sessions, I aim to understand what it's like to be you in the present moment and communicate that understanding openly. Whether you have specific mental health goals, broad personal questions, or simply want a space to reflect, this is your space to use as you see fit.

Some clients come for a single session, others for ongoing support—there’s no right or wrong way to engage with therapy. You are in control of how long and how often you attend.

How I Work (Supervisor)

My approach to supervision is grounded in the person-centred philosophy of trust in the individual’s capacity for growth — including the therapist in supervision.

Supervision with me is a space where your experience, perspective, and developing awareness take centre stage. I aim to facilitate your congruence and confidence as a practitioner, whether you're newly qualified, in training, or an experienced therapist. I’ll offer deep, attentive listening, warmth, and gentle challenge when needed — always with respect for your autonomy and way of working.

I have experience facilitating group supervision as a tutor on person-centred counselling training programmes, and I’m now expanding into one-to-one person-centred supervision in collaboration with a trusted group of fellow practitioners.

Key values I bring to supervision:

  • A belief in your capacity to find your own way
  • A safe and non-judgemental space to explore challenges, uncertainty, and ethical dilemmas
  • A commitment to confidentiality, mutual respect, and collaboration
  • An openness to your unique way of being as a therapist
