I hold the belief that YOU are the expert in your life and I see myself as a compassionate witness to your story, and companion along your unique journey.

I also believe that is important that we have the opportunity to be seen, heard, and to feel safe. From this space of connection and presence to ourselves we may discover the deep ocean of wisdom and potential that lies within each of us.

In an age where there is no shortage of people telling you how you should think, act, behave, and look, why not create some space for you to explore who you really are, without judgment or expectation...

If you are wondering how counselling might serve you at this time in your life, and would like an exploratory conversation - you are very welcome to reach out and get a feel for how we might work together to create a relationship that supports you.
  • Areas of practice

My wish is to co-create a space with you, where the whole of you is welcome.

I have extensive experience working with people who are at different ages and stages of life.

  • Special areas

I think it is important for me to say that I am critical of the psychiatric system. While many people find it helpful (and necessary) to get a psychiatric diagnosis, I believe that words carry hidden meanings and power and have been used to stigmatise and generalise. My wish is to hold a space where the 'whole' of you is welcome, free from labels and free to be whole heartedly and unashamedly you.

I do believe that there is an awful lot of inequality and oppression in the world, and believe that systems and structures (and labels) can tell false stories about us.

We may find ourselves thinking that we are 'ill' - when in fact the system has forced us to adapt in ways that may appear to be 'symptoms' of 'illness' but are actually very wise and creative parts of us that have helped us to survive in the world.
