tPCA Annual General Meeting 2025

 The AGM will beld on  Sunday 7th September 2025, 10.00am-12.00pm, over zoom, and is open to all members of tPCA.   Members will receive the zoom link and relevant papers two weeks in advance of the meeting.  

Guest speakers: We are delighted to have Rose Cameron and Stephen Joseph as guest speakers at this years event. 

Rose Cameron is a person-centred practitioner, supervisor and researcher based in Scotland. She is a teaching fellow at the University of Edinburgh and the author of several publications covering themes such as the therapeutic relationship, self-injury, social justice and more. Her most recent book is Difference and Diversity in Counselling & Psychotherapy (Sage 2025).

Stephen Joseph is an Emeritus Professor at the University of Nottingham and a Fellow of the British Psychological Society. He is editor of The Handbook of Person-Centred Therapy and Mental Health (PCCS, 2017). His most recent book is The Humanistic Psychology of Carl Rogers. Understanding the Person-Centered Approach (Oxford, 2025).

Business Meeting

Nominations for Trustees.  Any member, who wishes to stand as a Trustee (new Trustees are encouraged and welcome) -  should submit the names of a proposer and a seconder (who must be members of the Association) along with a paragraph or two about yourself and what you bring to the role of Trustee  to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. by August  11th 2025.  All members, new and old, are welcome to stand. 

Specific roles will be agreed by negotiation within the new Trustee Group after election and Trustees must be willing to engage in tPCA initiatives - this includes

  • take part in the running of tPCA;
  • take part in helping to organise tPCA events;
  • attending monthly Zoom meetings with other Trustees;

Resolutions If you wish to put any resolutions to the meeting, these must be proposed and seconded (by members of the Association) and sent to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. by August  11th 2025.  They will be circulated to members for consideration.  If a proposal to alter the constitution of the tPCA is to be considered please include the text of the proposed alteration, together with the text to be changed.  Last minute resolutions will not usually be put to the meeting unless the  matter could not reasonably have been foreseen.
