We are very pleased to announce the following prize in conjunction with PCCS books - The Pete Sanders students writing award

PCCS books and the person-centred association (tPCA) are proud and delighted to present a new award to support person-centred students in their studies.
As many of you will know, Pete Sanders was deeply committed to encouraging trainee counsellors as they progress in their first steps in counselling. He saw every new generation of students as the seed corn that ensures the person-centred approach continues to grow and develop and meet new and emerging needs and challenges.

With this in mind, we have created an award in Pete’s name, with the aim to recognise and reward creative, critical thinking among students of the person-centred approach.

The aware is for a piece of written prose - an essay, article, review or reflective writing - that critiques, interrogates and advances person-centred theory and practice.

There will be three awards
First: £400 plus £200 PCCS book tokens
Second: £100 plus £50 PCCS book tokens
Third: £50 plus £50 PCCS a book tokens

Entry requirements:
This award is open to all students at level four and above, including those who graduated in 2022.
Your piece of written prose should be between 2000-3000 words in length and not already published. We do not accept poems.
The deadline for submissions is 30 April 2023
