I am informing you that I stepped down as Chair and resigned from the Trustee Group on Sunday 11thJune.
In brief, I was offered a job role that has responsibility for the assessment and implementation of SCoPEd Framework Competencies and this is a role that I have accepted.
It was made very explicit, and understandably so, that my role as Chair of tPCA is a direct conflict of interest with this new job role given tPCA’s public stance in opposition to SCoPEd.
I therefore made the *very* difficult, if appropriate, judgment call to resign.
I have greatly enjoyed my time in support of the aims and objectives of the Association, and leave my role optimistic that the consolidation and growth of tPCA will continue dynamically and inclusively.
I would like to thank the trustees for their enthusiasm, and LJ Potter and Kathy Engler in particular for solid support of me in my role and of the Association at large.
With my very best to you all, and with my personal thanks for choosing to be a member of the Association.
Warmest,
Jonno
