Person-centred, contact- orientated counselling/psychotherapy in a nature setting.
These residential experiential weekends are for person-centred or humanistic counsellors interested in beginning to work (or in developing their existing practice) in using nature as a working environment, either with groups, or on a one-to-one basis.
The courses will be held at the Burnlaw Centre, Northumberland, set within forty acres of organic pastures, native woodland and gardens in the stunning North Pennine hills. www.burnlaw.org
Heart Wood is a mental health charity based in Northumberland founded by Chip Ponsford, developed with mentorship from Rab Erskine. We offer free person-centred therapeutic group counselling a natural environment for people who are experiencing complex and enduring poor mental health. We work with people within our community who often cannot engage with existing services.
