The Promise - writing event exploring the unspoken promise of 'Mother'

Exploring the unspoken promise of ‘mother’. We will be using poems and archetypes to open explorations into an unspoken promise we may detect in the identity of ‘mother’.  A chance to let in what society may anticipate for us, what fiction may describe to us. And then to write from our own perspective of what it's like to have a mother, maybe be a mother …. maybe live without a mother … or maybe as a mother to live without a child. Hopefully the material I'm choosing and prompts I'm designing will let us land where ever we need to into the morning.
