The Dove Service  is  a grief support charity in Stoke-on-Trent & North Staffordshire, providing services to people within the community from the age of 4+ who are experiencing issues relating to bereavement, loss or life-changing illness.
Requirements
You are currently undertaking your Counselling Diploma (or suitable equivalent) and are looking to work with a minimum of 3 adult clients per week, or have completed your Diploma and are going on to study at Masters level and are looking to work with a minimum of 3 adult clients per week, along with an interest in developing the skills to work with Children and Young People*, please request an application pack from our HR Lead, Sarah Mockridge email sarah.mockridge@thedoveservice.org.uk, call 01782 683155, or download an application form above.Successful applicants require a strong understanding of the BACP Ethical Framework, a theoretical understanding of grief, bereavement and loss, along with self-motivation and a willingness to commit to ongoing CPD related to the profession.
