Our organisation provides support to survivors of Domestic Abuse. We work throughout the Derbyshire area including High Peak and Amber Valley. We offer counselling in clients own home, where it is safe to do so. This will be assessed by the counselling co-coordinator.. 
Placement requirements
Student in their final year of counselling only. Some experience or knowledge of Domestic abuse would be helpful but we can direct you to resource for this. 
Students may do a written case study - with the clients express permission.
Students must NOT tape any sessions.
Students must provide their own indemnity insurance and clinical supervision.
This is a voluntary position and as such no reimbursements will be made.
Only female applicants will be considered at this  time under Schedule 9 (part 1) of the Equality Act 2010.

Students can access our training free of charge
We can offer hours to suit including weekends and evenings.
We will offer a warm, supportive environment in which you can qualify and grow.
