IPN aims to o er a form of accreditation which di ers from other institutional accrediting bodies in that it examines current practice and is founded on ongoing and regular face-to-face engagement with peers.

What is a gathering?

IPN holds three national gatherings each year. These are an opportunity for participants, prospective participants and member groups to meet face to face to discuss IPN business and any other matters decided at the time. Usually people also take time to go for walks, talk about their work, chat informally, sing, dance, or whatever feels right.

The gatherings are open to all practitioners who are interested in IPN and its principles. At present, attendance at gatherings, including accommodation, is free!

You do not need to have paid a contribution to IPN in order to attend and participate in the discussions.

The venues are low cost, usually with shared rooms and basic amenities. The gathering is self-catering, everyone bringing a contribution of vegetarian food and helping with the cooking and clearing up.

Each gathering is hosted by an IPN group, who take the bookings and welcome people on the rst evening with a prepared meal.
