It is estimated that 1 in 100 people have some form of Autism/Aspergers syndrome. They are likely to present for counselling because of their difficulty in social communication. Maybe as many as 1 in 10 who present for couples counselling have this condition. It is very rare for information about this syndrome to be included in counsellor training, therefore it is missed and we consequently fail to adequately help our clients.

Kate Stubbings and Allan Turner have extensive experience of both working with Autism/Aspergers clients and training counsellors in this field. The one day workshop will include innovative teaching techniques which will bring this to life.

Cost £60 per place.* If paid for by your employers please add an additional £30 to cover administration costs. You will need to provide a purchase order number.50% refund up to one month before the date & no-refunds after that date.

Facilitated learning from 10:00hrs to 16:00hrs.

Not included:
Lunch. There are several places to buy sandwiches, or something more substantial right here in the High Street, there's a really good choice.

There will be a "welcome" coffee time before formerly starting at 10:00hrs.

Eligibility This workshop is open to all counsellors regardless of orientation
