This conference is for anyone interested in the person-centred approach and is organised by ADPCA UK a not for profit organisation.  This year’s event is organised by four person-centred practitioners: Joanna Farmer, Kitty Crossley, Matthew Byng and Vron Pullen.

This is an opportunity to connect with others in an authentic way within a supportive environment. Our days will be formed around an encounter group, with workshops and other activities decided on by the participants. Offers of workshops are invited, and the details are discussed on the day.

Opening item: Trauma and the person-centred approach – July 17th 2 – 6pm

Jan Hawkins, a Person-Centred practitioner, supervisor, freelance trainer and author, will offer a person-centred framework for understanding clients who present with trauma.  She is passionate that relationship, with empathy, upr and congruence at the core, is at the centre of any successful therapeutic work.  She will demonstrate how to work effectively and safely with clients suffering from complex post-traumatic stress disorder (CPTSD) and dissociative identity disorder (DID).  For more information including the booking form, visit the ADPCA UK Events website: http://adpcauk.events email adpcauk@gmail.com any questions you may have, or see our Facebook page: ADPCA UK 2019
