Residential Weekend - Birth and Beyond....

December 06, 2013 - December 08, 2013

Shepherds Dene, Hexham | £250

Residential weekend Birth and Beyond.... Research into our birth process can give us rich information about ourselves and our ways of being in the world. Our conception, womb life and birth have an enormous impact on us, one that we hold the memory of in our bodies. During birth we transition from the inner fluid world of our mothers womb into the outer world and begin our journey as an embodied empowered being. Having a space to reconnect to and trust in our bodies impulses, sensations and memories can help us to understand something of the patterns or blueprints that are laid down at birth and how some have become reinforced in our lives. This three-day training event offers the space to hold and attend to an aspect of early life experience within a nurturing group. We will explore the issues that emerge using psychodrama and action methods and reflect on these using theory from biodynamic Craniosacral therapy, pre and peri- natal psychology and attachment theory. Facilitated by Sandra Grieve, Lynette Green and Heather Currey
