Merely Players? How can we get the best out of auxiliaries in Psychodrama?

September 21, 2013 - September 22, 2013

Priory Street Centre, York | £159

Moreno described auxiliaries as ’therapeutic agents’, he believed that every group member has potential to be a therapeutic agent for others. How do these ‘best fit’ agents get chosen? What is tele? How does that mutually intuitive process work? To what extent is the auxiliary a protagonist and vice versa? We will explore the web of relationships which are concretized in a psychodrama, everything from fathers to fridges or inner heroes to outer dragons! This workshop will explore the potential for therapeutic change by drawing on the experience and intuition of group members, spontaneously and creatively.
